Green and earth-friendly dentistry
In this environmental crisis we are going through, the Centre Dentaire Dre Audrey Caron wants to make a difference. In the last few months, we have looked at our tools, products and habits and are trying to find efficient and hygienic ways to reduce our environmental footprint.
Our goals are, as much as possible, to minimise or eliminate wasted material; eliminate disposable items and invest in reusable and sterilisable instruments; stop buying single dose products; buy refills instead of buying new packaging and choose disposable items that are recyclable or made from recyclable materials when the reusable option is not available. We are also looking for more ecologically-friendly dental hygiene products that are up to the high quality standards you oral health deserves.
We have also set up special recycle bins for recyclable waste that is not accepted in our local collection with Terracycle bins. We now have a bin to recycle all used dental hygiene products from our team and patients. So, do not hesitate to bring us back your used toothbrushes, electrics toothbrush heads, interdental brushes, floss threaders, empty toothpaste tubes and floss containers.
We are still transitioning and we know we still have a lot to do, but every little gesture counts ! So we sincerely hope you will help us to make your smiles a little greener...
